Vintage Seven Dwarfs Bar Soap by Kerk Guild

This boxed set of Seven Dwarfs castile bar soap is A Kerk Guild Bath Product. Imprint: "© 1938 Walt Disney Enterprises." On the inside of the hinged lid, it reads, “Soap Perfumed With Fairy Land Flowers.” Additional text tells how Snow White taught the dwarfs to wash. The box measures 11" x 3" x 1.5” and contains six bars in individually marked sleeves. A seventh space is for Grumpy who "wouldn't take a bath so he gets no soap."

Each bar is engraved with a dwarf face and name. On the reverse side it reads, "Snow White's own soap by Kerk Guild."

The same Seven Dwarfs soap box concept was employed by Bertelli in Italy. See it in an earlier Archive entry.

Also check out these other examples of Snow White soaps:

Snow White: "Supper's not quite ready. You'll just have time to wash."
Dwarfs (to each other): "Wash?"
Bashful: "Why wash?"
Happy: "What fer? We ain't going nowhere."
Doc: "T'aint new years."
